HP introduces HP Veer, small yet powerful

10 February 2011 – Aside from HP TouchPad and HP Pre 3 announcement from the HP "Think Beyond" event, HP Veer does shine along with other two brothers. HP Veer has the smallest in size as compared to the Pre 3 and the TouchPad. The Veer has the dimension of 54.5 x 84 x 15.1 mm, which is about the size of a credit card and weighs about 103g, which is very light. Despite its size, the Veer comes with 2.6 inch mutitouch screen of 320 x 400 resolution, a Qualcomm 800MHz processor, WebOS 2.2 and a built-in sliding QWERTY keyboard. From the video, the Veer is able to handle multitasking smoothly. In addition, the Veer also could act as a portable WiFi hotspot. The Veer is a Quad-band device, has a HSDPA 7.2Mbps and it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with A2DP support.
