HP introduces HP Veer, small yet powerful

10 February 2011 – Aside from HP TouchPad and HP Pre 3 announcement from the HP "Think Beyond" event, HP Veer does shine along with other two brothers. HP Veer has the smallest in size as compared to the Pre 3 and the TouchPad. The Veer has the dimension of 54.5 x 84 x 15.1 mm, which is about the size of a credit card and weighs about 103g, which is very light. Despite its size, the Veer comes with 2.6 inch mutitouch screen of 320 x 400 resolution, a Qualcomm 800MHz processor, WebOS 2.2 and a built-in sliding QWERTY keyboard. From the video, the Veer is able to handle multitasking smoothly. In addition, the Veer also could act as a portable WiFi hotspot. The Veer is a Quad-band device, has a HSDPA 7.2Mbps and it is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with A2DP support. This device is expected to release this coming Spring, but no pricing details being revealed yet. Check out the video below or learn more about its technical specification over here.
